Shipping Policy
Processing of all orders begins 3 to 10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. Please note that due to most items being handmade they may not be shipped immediately however we will endeavour to update regarding progress and time frames expected. You will receive an update notification when your order has shipped.
We will make every effort to dispatch orders as quickly as possible and will advise as soon as possible of any potential delays in processing or dispatch. There is always the possibly delays out of our control with shipping due to carrier error, volumes or technical issues. We will provide every effort to try and assist in tracking or following up any delays that may occur over the expected shipping timeframe.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We currently only ship within New Zealand unless prior arrangements have been made before an order is placed. If a rate looks incorrect we are happy to get a new quoted price, particularly for large orders where shipping of multiple items may benefit by bundling.
Local delivery
Free local delivery is available where arranged prior to ordering.
Deliveries are made in co-ordination with you. We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival.
In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup if arranged prior to placing your order. After placing your order and selecting pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 3 to 10 business days, unless notified otherwise. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Our in-store pickup hours are by prior arrangement only. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
International Shipping
We currently do not offer international shipping. However, we are happy to consider international orders on a case by case basis.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number, if available, that you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@axeandco.nz with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Shipping to P.O. boxes
We generally do not ship to PO Boxes as many of our items are over size and require a premises to deliver to.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We may accept returns up to 14 days after delivery. These are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please see our return policy for more information, or contact us directly at the email listed below.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@axeandco.nz with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
